ABOUT THE RED OPERA

"Each time with the intent of writing this review, but somehow getting caught up banging my head and thrashing about the office. DiAmorte delivers each song with massive guitar riffs, soul shaking rhythms, and a bass line that rattles my core."

"Symphonic, theatrical and cinematic – these are words that describe this release best, with harsh guitars, guttural vocals and sensitive classic moments, uniting on an album that is worth to be checked out."

"A band truly redefining the genre of symphonic meta. The Red Opera, an incredible, theatrical effort that took the band four years to create. Clearly, it was four years well spent, because this album is mind-blowing!"

"Symphonic metal at the top!  The symphonic arrangements are well-kept and literally explode and integrate very well with the metal parts creating an optimal union. A band that differs more markedly from the competition and that will surprise lovers of symphonic metal"

PHILOSOPHY

DiAmorte is a Music Theatre and Opera Metal Production combination with a complete production company with a core philosophy of presenting music as a live experience. It is the opera production for a modern age, linking the grandeur of the past to the audiences of the present, imbuing new life into a genre often viewed as antiquated.

A FULLY REALIZED THEATRICAL STAGE PRODUCTION

Heralded as “unapologetically theatrical”, DiAmorte does not follow the same formulas that have dominated the modern music era. Instead, they create their music through constant innovation and imagination to supply the best live entertainment possible and bring rich stories to life. Brimming with intrigue and indulging the senses from start to finish with high shows, fully fleshed stories set to the picturesque sounds of savage orchestral arrangements and metal instrumentation, and a diverse cast of talent spanning the globe, DiAmorte is more than music. It is an experience.

The combination of sights and sounds builds the atmosphere with each song, setting the nature of the experience and bringing to life the lyrics. The Red Opera took over four years to complete with time and dedication put into every detail.

DiAmorte seeks to redefine the genre of symphonic metal by breaking down the genre to its core, centralizing on the symphonic arrangements, and using modern instrumentation as support. The music is theatrical, cinematic, and grandiose, painting its stories not only through the lyrics but the music as well. DiAmorte features a full cast of prestigious performers including the founder, writer, and composer Drake Mefestta along with  award-winning music producers, and composer Spencer Creaghan for music for Legendary Pictures, Ubisoft games, Gravitas Ventures, and Saban Films.

EPISODIC ALBUMS

Each album produced is its own episodic adventure, there to fulfill and serve the live experience, not the other way around. Their latest piece “The Red Opera” tells the tale of a split kingdom in a dying land, locked in an eternal conflict known as "The Great Divide." On the horizon looms a dark, insidious force that influences and corrupts the powerful Accursed Lord, and through him, seeks to destroy all humanity and life so that new life may begin again.

INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION

DiAmorte boasts a fully staffed, self-sufficient internal creative team, complete with graphic design, marketing, branding, and video production capabilities as a means of maintaining brand focus and get things done promptly, as well as delivering a full experience beyond the live performance. This has allowed DiAmorte to flourish effortlessly as a viable force without the need of external reliance, which in turn, ensures quality and consistency, capable of delivering product in every way, on and off the stage.

HISTORY

ALBUM HISTORY

The Red Opera tells the tale of dueling kingdoms within the realm of "The Shadelands", locked in eternal conflict known as "The Great Divide." On the horizon looms a force that influences the powerful, accursed lord and through him, seeks to see all humanity destroy itself, that new life may begin.

These epic songs are completed with the powerfully enchanting voices of two female opera singers and a male opera vocalist, melding with the bestial sounds of darkly classical gutturals.

A record harkening back to the rock operas of old, it is the philosophy for live shows that to simply enter on stage and play songs as they were on the album without anything further is to simply listen to the album itself. Music provokes visualization and demands it to complete it in entirety.
